Representation by the attorney in the appeal proceedings begins with an assessment of the opportunities and chances for a successful appeal. It should be borne in mind that appeal may be filed within one month from the date of entry into force of the contested judicial decision. Appeal/cassation (protest) may be filed by the persons involved in the case on the ruling of the economic court of the first instance, which came into force, and the ruling of the economic court of appeal. The right to file a cassation/appeal belongs also to the persons not involved in the case, whose rights and legitimate interests are violated by the court decision in the case, if the economic court ruled on their rights and obligations. As a rule, submitting of the appeal/ cassation or opinion involves scrutinizing of significant amount of materials of the case.
